Hi, I'm Samuel Michelot.
I am a software engineer, former tech founder, and systems architect based near Barcelona, Catalonia.
From Scaling MosaLingua to Designing for Peace of Mind
For over a decade, I built and scaled MosaLingua, a language learning platform that reached millions of learners worldwide. As a software engineer and founder, I experienced the full cycle of bootstrapping, scaling technical infrastructure, managing remote teams, and eventually selling the company.
After the acquisition, my priorities became razor sharp: low chronic stress, complete control over my time, intentional systems, and far more life outside glowing screens.
Rather than building another traditional company with large management overhead, I wanted to explore a fundamental question: How much leverage can a single human achieve when systems, documentation, and autonomous AI agents work together in harmony?
How I Run Multiple Businesses with Zero Employees
Today, I operate several active projects simultaneously: Simple AI Studio (AI training and advisory for businesses), My Inner Center (wellness platform), and AsynCoaching (asynchronous coaching and operations platform).
I have zero full-time employees. Yet, client leads are qualified, invoice tables are matched against bank statements, codebases are tested, and research newsletters are drafted weekly.
The secret is not magic prompting. It is an **AI Operating System** built on three strict principles:
Everything lives in plain text Markdown in Obsidian. No proprietary database lock-in. Full data sovereignty.
Every business workflow is documented as a standard procedure that both humans and AI agents can execute safely.
Agents run locally on my machine. They read my context guidelines, use MCP tools, and never cause token bill shock.
The Power of Second Brains & Personal Knowledge Management (PKM)
The concept of a Second Brain, pioneered by thinkers like Tiago Forte and Nick Milo, started as a way for individuals to capture notes, organize projects, and synthesize knowledge without overwhelming their working memory.
In the era of autonomous AI agents, Personal Knowledge Management (PKM) has evolved from passive note-taking into the active operating system of your business. When you store company policies, customer notes, and technical workflows in open Markdown files, your Second Brain becomes the persistent world model that AI assistants consult before taking any action.
Without a Second Brain, an AI agent is like a talented intern with amnesia: you must re-explain your business rules on every single conversation. With a structured Second Brain, the agent already knows your values, your boundaries, and your standard procedures.

Simple AI Studio: The Hands-On AI Bootcamp
Through Simple AI Studio, I run the AI Bootcamp to help founders, managers, and small teams build and set up their own sovereign AI Business OS (AIBOS).
Most AI corporate training on the market is generic fluff: slides about prompt engineering that leave teams without durable operational systems. Simple AI Studio takes the opposite approach: we build actual operational systems directly on students' laptops, establishing local team second brains in open Markdown, turning daily manual work into 1-click executable SOPs, and configuring sovereign AI workflows that team members own forever.

Why YAIBOS Is Open: An Invitation to the Community
I saw a frustrating divide in the market. On one hand, developers have powerful CLI tools (CrewAI, LangChain, raw Claude Code), but these tools are completely inaccessible to non-technical business operators. On the other hand, commercial SaaS startups are locking company data into proprietary cloud silos and charging unpredictable token markup fees.
I believe small business owners deserve a third path: a sovereign, local-first, zero-friction AI operating system where business procedures are 1-click buttons, team members bring their own subscriptions, and company data stays in open Markdown files.
Let's Build This Together: I deliberately did not launch YAIBOS as a closed venture-backed SaaS. Instead, I published it as an open architectural specification. My dream is to gather a community of thoughtful founders, PKM geeks, open-source developers, and operators to build open implementations together upon these sovereign foundations.
Whether you want to implement a 1-click SOP runner, build a desktop client, improve the RBAC specification, or simply share how you organize your company second brain, you are warmly invited to join the conversation.
